For Meditators & Wellness gurus

In the wellness space, the voice isn't just a vehicle for information, it is the experience. I know that sounds a bit big-headed, but it’s such an audio first section of the industry. Sleep stories for an app or stress-relief modules for corporate training, the wrong tone can break the listener's immersion instantly.

We don't need a performer here, we need an authentic, unabrasive presence.

I provide a grounded, warm, and natural British voiceover that helps listeners lower their shoulders and unclench their jaws. No affectations. Only a reassuring human voice that guides your audience into a state of focus or rest.

As a nice little sidenote, I’m a counsellor-in-training, so this is a space I have a building experience in.

A Modern Voice for Mindfulness

The trend in wellness has shifted. Listeners are moving away from the abstract, almost elevated delivery and looking for voices that feel authentic and safe.

My vocal texture (a neutral British accent with a lower register) is naturally suited for:

  • Guided Meditations: Breathwork, body scans, and anxiety relief.

  • Sleep Stories: Long-form narration designed to be "level enough to sleep to, interesting enough to listen to."

  • Corporate Wellness: Mental health resources for the modern workplace that sound professional, not patronising.

  • Affirmations: Positive reinforcement delivered with genuine sincerity.

I’ll be honest, this is the style in which I like my voice most. I still suffer the same as everyone when hearing their own voices played back to them, but the sting is least on low energy, true voiceovers.

Why hire a specialist Wellness Voiceover?

  • The "Noise Floor" Matters
In a loud commercial, background hiss is hidden by music. In a silent meditation, technical perfection is non-negotiable. I record in an acoustically treated studio with a Neumann U87 microphone, ensuring a "pitch black" silence behind the voice.

  • Pacing is Everything
Reading a meditation script requires a completely different internal clock. I understand the importance of the pause, giving your listener time to breathe, process, and visualize before the next instruction.

  • The Trust Factor
To close their eyes and relax, a listener must trust the speaker. My natural, non-announcer reading style builds that subconscious rapport immediately. Such a buzzword at the moment, and I don’t like to even bring it up, but AI voices (and their producers) are taking aim at narrative styles like those found in meditation and wellness, and while servicable, a real human voice will always win out in the eyes of other humans. Even moreso when the aim is connection with oneself and others.
